Professional activities
Today Saijo Sensei gave an interesting lecture on how to teach Go
Usually we are having several activities with Professional players present at the Congress, they comment games, play simultaneous games, and give lectures.
A typical day offers commented games after main round, simultaneous games and/or a lecture in the afternoon and a lecture in the evening.
Every day at 11.00 Saijo Sensei also gives a teaching lesson for people who don't play go or for beginners that are not playing in the main tournament.

Hotta Yumi
During her first time in Europe, visiting the Congress, Hotta Yumi, creator of Hikaru no Go has met the Go players for a question session.

Two holiday weekends offered by the Fattoria di Colleoli
Two weekends for 2 people each (2 nights + 1 dinner, travel expenses excluded) have been offered by the Fattoria di Colleoli
One weekend will be an extra prize for the tournament winner and one is going to be drawn by lottery among all foreign players present at the prizegiving ceremony.

Arrival of Hotta Yumi

Apologies
We apologize to all those who are not taking part in the Congress and would like to see live broadcasted games and/or more info on the internet but we have limited resources and decided to devote them all to try to make this Congress the most enjoyable for all those players, Professionals and guests who are here in Frascati.
At this very moment Takemiya Sensei is giving a commentary on the semifinal for the Tengen title he won, and in a few minutes we'll welcome the arrival of Yumi Hotta, creator of Hikaru No Go.

A wonderful day

Wednesday activities
While several people today are enjoying a day visiting Rome or the seaside, some are playing in the Pair Go tournament.
 
Our special guest Saijo Sensei is always available with his enthusiasm for commenting games and teaching
Tomorrow afternoon Takemiya Sensei is going to give a lecture talking about his life and his Go philosophy.
The lecture will be followed by a Welcome Party with wine degustation in honor of Professional players guests of the Congress.

Takemiya Masaki, 9 Dan Professional arrived in Frascati
This evening we have had the pleasure of welcoming Sensei Takemiya Masaki, 9 Dan that after his arrival came to the Congress to say hello together with Shigeno Yuki, 2 Dan, secretary general of the IGF. You can see in the pictures also the Korean television troupe present at the Congress.
In the next days a lecture and several Go activities by Takemiya Sensei will be scheduled.

Today we are expecting the arrival of Takemiya Masaki, 9 Dan Professional, who will enrich the Congress with his presence.
We are having also a very nice unexpected visit, that of Yukawa Mitsuhisa, 9 Dan Professional. He will kindly join the simultaneus games session organized in the afernoon.
